Here are just a few good reasons to get involved in student radio:
you can learn new skills you will meet a lot of new and exciting (weird) people student radio will accept just about anyone you will get practical on-the-job experience you can get famous or die trying it's a chance to enjoy yourself at University without being tied to your studies and social events will help you develop your communication skills you can play the music that YOU like (even if it's totally crazy) you often get to meet and interview some famous people it's better than doing your coursework it will help you develop interpersonal skills you will certainly get out more you don't need any experience you get to go to gigs or review films, sometimes for free student radio is bloody good fun you may even get the chance to change the face of music or set a new trend it's a chance to be creative and innovative without being beaten up you can be nominated for awards which will get you all the girls you will have links to some of the greatest DJs on air today you will never get a chance to do anything like this again
