Station Founded 20077 Radio (Symonds Events and Entertainment Network Radio Station) was founded on the 14th February 2007 by founding station managers James Silsbury and Josh Lewkowicz at Peter Symonds College in Winchester. The station was the first student run radio station in Hampshire. Presented throughout the day, 7 Radio provides the best mix of music, news and events. Previous managers include Michael Kurn, John Wellock, Alex Jones and James Borrett. In 2009, the station was rebranded and relaunched by station manager James Borrett, who was also a member of the student union at the college. The station has gone from strength to strength and now has a presenting and production crew of a staggering one-hundred and twenty. 7 Radio launched its new website last November and has been broadcasting since.
