The Radio Academy is a registered charity dedicated to the encouragement, recognition and promotion of excellence in UK radio broadcasting and audio production.
The academy helps out the SRA by providing us with a registered address for the company, as well as advice and assistance when necessary. Student Radio Association members are also granted free access to RA events.
The Radio CentreThe role of RadioCentre is to maintain and build a strong and successful Commercial Radio industry — both in terms of listening hours and revenues. As such, RadioCentre operates in a number of areas including working with advertisers and their agencies, working with government, Ofcom and policy makers, and also stations themselves.
The Radio Centre has in the past provided the SRA with office space and storage at key times of year, as well as providing speakers and talent from the commercial radio industry for our conference and the awards.
BBC Radio 1Always supportive of student radio - from the very first Student Radio Awards through to our most recent conference, the BBC - and especially Radio 1 play a big part in Student Radio events - as well as providing opportunities for work experience to student radio people.

It provides a university ranking service that allows students to rate any university in the UK according to their experience. In addition, it provides student news, UK Student Music Charts, a top of the line accommodation service for students and landlords alike, Student Hot or Not, a UK wide What’s On Guide and much more.
SkillsetSkillset is the industry body which supports skills and training for people and businesses to ensure the UK creative industries maintain their world class position. Skillset fully supports the SRA acknowledging their work in preparing new entrants for employment in the Radio sector; we aid the SRA by providing access to careers resources and information on how to move up in the world of Radio.
